Recessed lighting installation
Recessed lighting is part of the everyday electrical work we do, installed carefully and cleanly. Adding recessed lights to a room is a lighting project, so it starts with a Project Estimate / Consultation.
What we do
- Recessed lighting installations
- LED upgrades
- Fixture replacements
- Layout options for where the lights go
- Dimming controls
We also install interior and exterior lighting, ceiling fans, dedicated circuits, permanent outdoor lighting and smart-home electrical and controls, and move switches and receptacles to where you need them. We handle permitting when it is required.
Low-profile LED wafer lights
Low-profile LED wafer lights offer flexibility with placement because of their shallow design, depending on the ceiling conditions and fixture requirements.
Mike carries a sample wafer light on service calls, so you can see what one looks like and talk through how it might work in different areas of your home.
If we find something that needs attention
If we find something that needs attention, we show you and explain it in plain language. We sort it into what needs attention now, what can wait and what to plan for later. Then the decision is yours.
“He cares about doing the job properly and making sure the little things don’t get overlooked.” (Kimberly Schroeder, Google review)
Lights that flicker or stopped working
That is a repair, not a lighting project. Flickering lights and light fixtures that stopped working are traced to the cause on a Diagnostic Service Visit, a paid troubleshooting visit. See Service & Troubleshooting on our electrical services page.
Mobile and manufactured homes
Mobile and manufactured homes have their own electrical setups and their own common problems, and we’re glad to work on them.
